/emulate. xD They're fun, but I found myself comparing them to another game I've played, by the name of 'Legend of Kay'. Which... The best way to describe it is, Zelda with a more complex fighting system and real jumping as opposed to what it's like in Ocarina of time. xD;I found the lack of jumping fine in OoT. It kept you from skipping/cheating over parts, like I've actually done in games that allow full map exploration and jumping. I accidentally got into an area I wasn't supposed to be until like 5 missions later.
I can see that. xD I just found the way it set up jumping to be a bit odd, because I'm much more used to being able to control my own jumps as opposed to having my person jump for me at the right time. I should give it another try, though. I didn't get nearly as far in OoT as I did in 'The Minish Cap', so I can't really say I have a full enough image of the game to have a complete opinion on it. xD
As for it begin for PS1, as long as it doesn't have eye-bleed graphics, I'm fine, and besides, I like older games. I'm currently trying not to kill myself while playing Zelda 1, which control wise is frustrating as fuck. I'm so used to more motion range on the sprite, the de-evolution is kicking my ass.
And, not the ps1. Ps2. Graphically, it's pretty nice looking. Some review claim it has a frame rate issue, but I suspect it's just their tvs. xD I literally never had that problem. And, the original Zelda? I've given it... About a ten second try, if I remember properly. Really wish I would actually try and play it through, but it (and Final Fantasy I, NES) just feel horrible to look at, for me.
Oh, PS2. That's fine anyway. My brother in law has a backwards compatible PS3.
... which sucks, since I really want to answer 6 with SO MUCH
